Jose Mourinho is suspended and so did not attend the post-match media conference.

“It was the victory of the team, of character and the desire to win,” proclaimed Branca on Sky Italia television.

“It is very important because this was a game that saw us without five or six first-team players.

“Udinese played well, but we had a good game too. In the second half, admittedly, we weren't quite as sharp.”
