Manchester City have held talks with Inter Milan over the sale of Carlos Tevez.
City remain keen to find a buyer for Tevez after seeing a deal with Corinthians fall through last week.
Sportitalia and Argentina's Ole say Inter chief Marco Branca met with City officials this week to outline plans over the signing of Tevez.
It was agreed the deal would wait until the second-half of August when Inter will have a clearer picture of whether the likes of Wesley Sneijder and Lucio will be staying or going - for big money.
City are happy with the situation and also informed Branca they are willing to slash their current €50 million asking price to get Tevez off the books.
