Inter Milan are maintaining talks with Gremio for defender Mario Fernandes.

The youngster is currently injured and the Inter delegation which flew to Brazil last week for talks have since returned to Milan.

Calciomercato.com says Inter chief Marco Branca plans to return to Porto Alegre next week to finalise negotiations with Gremio for the youngster.

Inter want to close an agreement for Fernandes with the view to him moving to Italy at the end of the season.
