Inter Milan chief Marco Branca has shut down talk of finishing in third place.

Third place is still up for grabs, as there are only six points spanning Lazio, Udinese, Roma, Napoli and Inter.

"In all honesty, I don't think we are in the race for the Champions League," confessed technical director Branca.

"All I can say is that we will do our best to the bitter end."
