Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio says Milan Skriniar has silenced his doubters in the early weeks of the season.

Inter swooped for the former Sampdoria defender over the summer.

Ausilio stated: "We are happy, we have followed him a lot. Really for so many months, trying to get news of his technical and moral qualities.

"He has quickly proved to be able to honor this shirt, for me it is no surprise.

"Someone laughed when he was taken, but the guy is doing fine."
