Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio insists Mauro Icardi will not leave in January.

The Argentina striker has been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool after being dropped by Inter coach Roberto Mancini.

Icardi was named captain by Mancini at the start of the season, but has struggled in front of goal.

Chelsea and Liverpool are monitoring developments, but Ausilio has told them to forget about making an offer.

"What if an interested club offers €35 million euros?" said Ausilio, discussing Icardi, "Then I would hang up immediately."
