Inter Milan had scouts check on Monaco midfielder Jeremy Menez in action against Olympique Marseille last night.

Menez has been recommended to Inter by midfielder Patrick Vieira and a January bid could be made for the young playmaker.

Inter are planning to offer £5 million, says Controcampo, however Monaco are seeking closer to £8 million. Representatives from both clubs are meeting today to discuss a fee for the 20 year-old.
