Inter Milan are ready to battle Chelsea for Fluminense fullback Wallace.

Inter see the 18 year-old as a replacement for Douglas Maicon following his move to Manchester City last month.

Chelsea have first option on Wallace, but an Inter source told Calciomercato.com: "I can confirm that Inter Milan is very interested in Wallace. In recent months, Marco Branca was in Brazil and inquired about him."
