Inter Milan captain Zanetti won't accept retirement after Achilles shock

Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti refuses to accept his career is over after snapping his Achilles tendon. Zanetti, 40, faces eight months out.

"My career is not over," he declared outside the clinic where he underwent the tests.

"After such a long time, I needed a tyre change... I want to come back stronger than ever. It's just a shame I can't give a hand to my teammates, but I have faith we can reach a Europa League spot."
