Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti remains angry over the manner of defeat to Atalanta.

Inter blew a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3.

"I am still bitter about what happened," admitted Zanetti. "This sort of thing often happens to us. We pay for the fact that we are different.

"Our history with this sort of thing speaks for itself.

"The President was clear in what he said. I do not know who would want to plot against us. We just play.

"It has been a year with many difficulties. The injuries to Palacio, Milito and Cassano have certainly affected the performance of the team.

"But we try not to make excuses."
