Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti feels there are positives to draw from their Champions League defeat to Marseille.

They were beaten 1-0 by Olympique Marseille in the Champions League this evening, falling with the last kick of the game.

"We are very bitter at this situation," said captain Zanetti after the final whistle.

"I think we played with character, but at the end we conceded a goal. This is football. We just have to start again.

"Bad luck? There was a bit of everything involved. We did not deserve the defeat tonight, but it's part of this negative period and we hope it ends soon."
