Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti has explained clashing with a fan after their draw with Palermo. The Argentine refused to apologise for his actions.
"Last night, in the Anello Rosso section, one single fan was insulting my teammate," Zanetti told Inter Channel.
It was originally reported that the Argentine had told a group of Nerazzurri supporters to keep quiet.
"I always respected my fans, but this individual crossed the line. It seemed strange and I was upset, because my teammate was just behind me and I could only imagine his state of mind straight after a match.
"I understand that after a game tempers are high, but this man went over the top.""I intervened and thought it was opportune to do so because what was happening seemed exaggerated to me."
