Inter Milan are confident of a deal for Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski.

Inter chief Piero Ausilio had a lunch meeting with the Gunners in London yesterday and discussed the possibility of a transfer.

Sportitalia says Arsenal and Podolski gave the all-clear for a six-month loan deal, which could cost the Nerazzurri between €1m and €2m.

Inter also want an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €6m.
