Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni was pleased with youngster Marko Livaja in their 1-1 draw with AS Roma.
Livaja received his first Serie A start and hit the woodwork, but Esteban Cambiasso was surprisingly benched.
Strama said: "I opted for two midfielders who could run more, as we needed pace to challenge the Roma central midfielders. Cambiasso is an important player for us, but for this game I made other choices.
"Livaja put in a great performance and was about to score a spectacular goal."
