Inter Milan boss Stefano Pioli delighted with Pescara mauling

Inter Milan boss Stefano Pioli says there's more to come from his players after victory over Pescara.

The 3-0 mauling was their seventh consecutive Serie A victory.

“We played against a good Pescara who caused us problems," Pioli told Mediaset Premium.

“We created a great deal and at the end of the day the win was deserved. We could've been more precise with our passing, but naturally one cannot play the full 90 minutes at such an intense tempo."

The next week will be crucial for Inter's campaign, as they face Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-final and then Juventus in Serie A.

“On Tuesday there's an in-or-out match in a competition we really care about, so we must remain concentrated. We want to play in the Inter style in Turin and take the initiative.

“We're doing good things, but I am sure we can do even better. I have players of a high level, but we've not yet reached our peak and that should give us real confidence going forward.

“We've done nothing yet, we are not in the position we want to be or playing the football we want."
