Inter Milan boss Ranieri: Motta forced PSG sale

Inter Milan coach Claudio Ranieri insists they had no choice but to sell Thiago Motta to PSG.

Ranieri revealed why Thiago Motta was released to join Paris Saint-Germain in January.

“We all agreed he would’ve gone in June, but he continued pushing and wanted to leave at all costs. I pointed out to him it was all done and he could play in the Champions League this season, but he spoke to me and the President every single day asking to leave. It was strange, we’ve never experienced anything quite like it before.”
