Inter Milan boss Stefano Pioli was pleased to give Gabriel Barbosa minutes in victory over Sassuolo.

Gabigol was given only his second Serie A appearance – for four minutes of injury time.

“We are working to improve and grow," said Pioli.

"He has quality and talent, has been given the necessary time to understand Italian football and is now trying to make his mark along with his other Inter colleagues."
