Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed Patrick Vieira has played his final game for the club.

Vieira is set to sign with Manchester City after producing an outstanding performance in Inter's 1-0 win at Chievo Verona yesterday.

Mourinho said: "Patrick had an incredible game. He could not have given us a more beautiful send off than this. I wish him the best in his new life and I will miss a player like him.

"In my opinion he will go to England."
