Inter Milan boss Mourinho has no complaints after Napoli defeat

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho had no complaints after their surprise 1-0 defeat to Napoli.

"It looked like a typical 0-0 draw. Inter controlled possession in a sterile fashion that scared nobody in the first half. In the second we were too deep and without frightening the opposition, we lost control," he said of the 1-0 loss.

"Napoli had no real chances, nor did they try, and scored a great goal out of nowhere. Admittedly if anyone deserve the luck to win tonight it was Napoli, because they put more intensity and ambition into it.

"I am not angry, just disappointed, as you always prepare the match with the idea of winning. We will work within the squad on analysing this defeat and discussing what happened so we can get the nine points we need."

Marcelo Zalayeta came off the bench to hit Napoli's winner and Mourinho added: "No. I don't need to know how far behind Juve or Milan are. I know where they are, but I do not need that information, all I need to know is that we require nine points.

"We have to focus only on ourselves for five rounds and that is a wonderful advantage to have. We play three of those games at home, so we could win the title just with our San Siro encounters. It is a very positive situation."
