Inter Milan boss Mourinho ends media blackout
Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has ended his latest media silence.
Mourinho has kept quiet ever since last month's match against Sampdoria in which he made the now infamous handcuff gesture.
Asked if his absence from the bench affects the team, he said: “But I don't play. I don't score. I don't make saves. If the team plays well with the right attitude, there is no need for a Coach to be on the bench to win.
“You need a Coach when a team lacks concentration, intensity and aggressiveness: then the Coach can try and help the team, but if he is far from the players, he cannot do anything.”
The Nerazzurri have drawn four of their last five games.
“There are draws and draws: those because of errors made by others, and those that come because of errors made by us,” added Mourinho.
