Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho explained why he hooked Mario Balotelli in the second-half of yesterday's 3-1 win over Bologna.
Balotelli struck during the victory, but still didn't last the full 90 minutes.
"We won by playing well, without problems and deserved the result," assured Mou on Sky Sport Italia.
"Balotelli had a normal first half, he missed a goal and scored one. I substituted him at half-time because he was on a card.
"Experience teaches me some players can control their emotions when on a card, but Mario always plays the same way and so I preferred not to risk being reduced to 10 men."
