Inter Milan boss Walter Mazzarri praised Mateo Kovacic after his hat-trick in victory over Europa League opponents Stjarnan.
The Nerazzurri won 6-0 at San Siro, going through to the Europa League 9-0 on aggregate.
Kovacic was the undoubted star of the show, as he has never previously scored for Inter and got a hat-trick in one night.
"Kovacic was rewarded for his perseverance. This lad is growing exactly the way we hoped, is becoming consistent and putting his talents to the service of the team."
Mazzarri was asked about President Erick Thohir confirming talks with PSG for Ezequiel Lavezzi.
"I do not talk about the market. I only talk about the game. Of course I have a great rapport with Lavezzi and there's mutual respect. I helped him when I arrived at Napoli, where we won the Coppa Italia and did well in the Champions League."
