Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini insists he rates Mateo Kovacic.

The young midfielder has fallen out of favour in recent weeks and his situation has alerted Everton boss Roberto Martinez.

Martinez is now making discreet enquiries about Kovacic's situation and his interest in moving to England.

However, Mancini insists he still values Kovacic.

"Fredy Guarin has progressed a lot thanks to himself, he just had to find tranquility. Mateo has to stay calm, he will become like Guarin, he has extraordinary qualities," said Mancini.
