Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini is excited by the potential of Assane Gnoukouri.

Mancini gave the young midfielder his Serie A debut last week.

"He can turn into a great player," Mancini has said. "I saw him training with the first team for the first time in November, when I had only just arrived. Back then I didn't like him.

"I saw him again in Viareggio, where he played the perfect game, and I brought him back with us. I liked him and I let him debut in the first team."
