Inter Milan boss Mancini calm about his contract status

Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini isn't concerned about his contract status.

Mancini was asked about the possibility of a renewal at his Press conference in Brunico.

“I don't think it's important," Mancini replied.

“I have a contract for one year. The word 'project' is always used, but you have to figure out how long that lasts.

“It could last three or four years before you have to revitalise things, or less. Juventus took time to get back to winning even though they always had great players.

“I don't think many 'projects' exist.

“I love my job and I want to do my best, the rest isn't important. The only discomfort I feel is a small knee problem…

“What matters is the pitch. I talked to the new owners at the presentation. If I'm here it means that I want to continue."
