Mourinho has been linked with Inter since leaving Chelsea last week and speculation has only increased after yesterday's disappointing 2-2 draw against Livorno, which was following on from defeat at Fenerbahce.

"If we had been beaten," Mancini said last night, "I'm sure I would have been replaced by Mourinho."

Mancini was joking, but admitted: "We're committing too many errors at the moment."
