Inter Milan boss Gian Piero Gasperini hopes they can beat Arsenal for Velez Sarsfield midfielder Ricky Alvarez.
There's reports Inter have already closed a deal for the Argentine.
Gasperini said: "Alvarez is a good player, but he's not an Inter player. I can only really talk about confirmed Inter players, even if he would be an important addition to an already strong side.
"Genoa's Rodrigo Palacio? You'll have to ask Branca about that. He's a player that Inter like and I was in a position to admire him."
