Inter Milan boss Gian Piero Gasperini was coy over the future of Wesley Sneijder after their Super Cup defeat to AC Milan.
Gazzetta dello Sport says an agreement with Manchester City was a done deal for 36m, plus a contract worth 6m per season.
It would be a surprise considering their rivals Manchester United had been pushing for the Dutchman all summer.
"I don't know, we'll think about it next week, if the situation develops, and see what happens," said Gasperini
Inter were defeated 2-1 by Milan for the Italian Super Cup and Sneijder was on target, but also seemed extremely irritable.
"Did Sneijder tell me he wants to leave? That has never been said by the player," was Gasperini's rather cryptic response.
