Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez was delighted with the performance of his youngsters in their 4-0 thumping of Champions League opponents Werder Bremen.
With Diego Milito, Goran Pandev, Thiago Motta, Javier Zanetti, Walter Samuel and Marco Materazzi missing, Inter gave impressive full debuts to Coutinho and Jonathan Biabiany.
"We had the right balance," continued Benitez. "The youngsters need time, but there are experienced players to help them.
"It is always better to win while playing well, but we hope to also find success when our performance is less sparkling."
