Inter Milan are in contact with FC Basel for wing-back Xerdhan Shaqiri.
The Swiss whizkid has been watched long-term by Arsenal and Liverpool since last year.
However, Inter have approached Basel to register their interest in Shaqiri ahead of the January market.
The European champs are ready to offer €6 million for the midfielder.
