Chelsea are pricing Diego Costa out of a move away.

It was revealed over the weekend that Costa's agent, Jorge Mendes, has been in talks with Serie A clubs about the striker.

TMW says the striker's priority is to return to former club Atletico Madrid, but Chelsea's asking price has been deemed too rich.

Atletico, despite the arrival of Kevin Gameiro from Sevilla, have offered €40 million for Costa. But Chelsea are demanding €55 million to sell.

Inter Milan are also keen, where new owners Suning have the spending power to tempt Costa to Italy. But, for the moment, their plans are being dominated by the departure of coach Roberto Mancini this week.
