Inter Milan are ready to pounce for Barcelona midfielder Javier Mascherano.
RAI Sport says Inter are aware Mascherano is unsettled at Barca following the arrival of Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal this week.
Mascherano was frustrated last season with the lack of chances he had in midfield and knows competition will be even tougher this term with Cesc and the emergence of Thiago Alcantara.
Inter are monitoring his situation closely and will bid for the former Liverpool midfielder once Samuel Eto'o's €35 million move to Anzhi is rubberstamped.
