Inter Milan are on the brink of signing Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

Italian sources say Inter have agreed a fee worth £17 million in total for the Holland international. An immediate £7 million will be paid by Inter, with the remaining £10 million due based on appearances and success.

Sneijder will sign a four-year deal worth £3 million-a-season - if coach Jose Mourinho can convince him about a move to Inter.
