Inter Milan director Gabriele Oriali has admitted the Italian club is interested in departing Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez.

There have been rumours that the treble winners were keen on the Spaniard who will leave Anfield by mutual consent and Oriali has all but confirmed the Nerazzurri will pursue him to become their new boss.

"We really like Rafa Benitez and he is in our favour since the Champions League final in Istanbul," Oriali told Corriere dello Sport.
