Inter Milan striker Diego Milito was delighted with his goal in last night's 2-1 Champions League win over Chelsea. Milito broke the deadlock just three minutes in, equalling the record of the earliest Champions League goal conceded by Chelsea.
"I got into the box and went for the near post. Thankfully it went in," he told RAI.
"With their goal it became a little more complicated, but we won the game and are in a good position.
"The important thing was the victory. Of course the result is still very open, but we beat a great squad and go to London a little more relaxed.
"We always try to improve every day, in Europe too, and played a great side today that caused us a lot of problems.
"We'll try to play to this level in London as well and it's good that we are raising our game for the big events."
