Inter Milan star Samuel Eto'o has been named African Player of the Year.
The 29-year-old Cameroon international, a four-time winner, is now the most decorated African footballer of all-time after leapfrogging the likes of Abedi Pele and George Weah who had each won the award on three occasions.
Eto'o was instrumental for Inter in their treble winning campaign last season. He picked up five pieces of silverware in his first year at San Siro, scoring in seven competitions.
