Inter Milan have accepted Cristian Chivu's four-match ban.
The defender was handed the suspension after video evidence showed him striking Bari forward Marco Rossi this week.
"The club appreciated the sincerity of Chivu's apology to everyone after the incident in Bari-Inter," read a statement.
"Despite the gravity of the sanction, Inter will not lodge an appeal, therefore accepting the decision of the Disciplinary Commission."
