Inter Milan have dropped interest in Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

AC Milan are now expected to step in and land Drogba after Inter chief Marco Branca revealed: "Mourinho has not asked us for any strikers.

"There will only be a few arrivals, we already have an excellent squad.

"Mourinho hasn't asked for many players - two or three players at the most."
