Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar has taunted AC Milan over their sale of Kaka to Real Madrid.

"Milan have given us a wonderful present," Cesar told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "The transfer of Kaka to Real Madrid reinforces Inter.

"Milan without Kaka will become weak."

On being asked if Inter could compete with Real Madrid in next year's Champions League, Cesar replied: "Slow down.

"Real have acquired two phenomenal players by conducting an overwhelming transfer strategy. But the Champions League is our objective.

"Inter have great technical values and a trainer like Jose Mourinho, who will come up with something to make us become even stronger in Europe.

"At the moment, we don't feel inferior to anyone, not even the Real Madrid of Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo."
