Inter Milan coach Gian Piero Gasperini has dismissed being wrote off by AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.

Galliani believes that the Nerazzurri won't be as strong as they were last term when the new campaign kicks off.

"We'll do all that we can to make sure that he is wrong," Gasperini stated on Monday afternoon.

"We can immediately be as competitive as the side was in the last campaign, a team that despite injuries still won trophies."
