Chris Wood is proud over the way he's started his career with Burnley.
The £15 million man has made a lightning fast start to his Burnley career and having scored off the bench in the 1-1 draw against Tottenham at Wembley before the international break he made it two in two by netting the winner at Turf Moor against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
"It was fantastic. Hopefully I can go on and do great things here and be a great name in a Burnley shirt and I'm looking forward to doing that together," he told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
“Normally as a striker you have first instincts and your first thought is the right one, and it was (on Sunday).
“It's one off the back, especially at home. It's nice that I can tick that off and now I can focus on a lot more things, both for myself and the team. Hopefully I can go onto more and bigger things."
