Insider: Real Madrid target Aguero will soon leave Man City

Sergio Aguero remains unsettled at Manchester City, with Real Madrid keeping tabs on his situation.

The star striker threw his gloves in the air after being replaced by Gabriel Jesus during the Citizens' 4-1 win against Tottenham.

According to Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez Haya, while the 29-year-old loves the club, he doesn't feel valued by boss Pep Guardiola.

Taking to Twitter, Haya said: "Kun Agüero could leave Manchester City really soon. He loves a lot the club and their fans but he is not valued by the coach.

"He is the second best rated scoring goals per minute played in PL (101 minutes per goal). Real Madrid could be a potential destiny for him."

Haya also revealed that the ex-Atletico Madrid maestro has been playing with a heel injury for the last three months.

City boss Pep Guardiola concedes Aguero was upset with his decision.

He said: "That's normal. The players want to play and I can understand him.

"He wants to play, he's a top player but in that moment I needed a little more energy with Gabriel in that position that's why I took that decision.

"Always I don't want to hurt the players, believe me. I understand them because I was a football player. They want to play but I have to take the decisions.

"Before the game I thought the best option was Sergio and I said that to Gabriel and he was sad and upset."
