Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to ask Liverpool for permission to talk to Jurgen Klopp.

Florentino is seeking a replacement for Zinedine Zidane after his resignation last Thursday - and Klopp is under consideration.

Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito, admits Klopp has long been a favourite of Florentino.

He said: "I think there are two great candidates. (Joachim) Low, although he says he has been discarded but is still there, and Klopp.

"He has loved him (Klopp) for years. He has lost two Champions League finals, but in Dortmund and Liverpool he did not have the best team. He is more diplomatic than (Jose) Mourinho."
