INSIDER: Real Madrid know they must go to €100M for De Gea (and have a plan)

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez isn't giving up on prising David de Gea away from Manchester United.

Well-connected Okdiario pundit Eduardo Inda says Perez plans to sell James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich and put the cash raised towards a new bid for De Gea.

He explained on El Chiringuito de Jugones: "The number one target for the goalkeeper is David de Gea.

"They know that they will have to surpass €100 million and since they are going to sell James to Bayern, with the €55 million that they are going to raise, they will be ready to undertake the signing of the United goalkeeper."

Real will receive €55m at the end of the season for James, with a €13m loan fee due plus €42m for the permanent option.
