INSIDER MACCA: Liverpool won't go back for Fekir

Liverpool hero Steve McManaman believes there's zero chance of manager Jurgen Klopp reviving his bid for Lyon star Nabil Fekir.

A mooted medical issue saw the deal fall through a fortnight ago.

McManaman, a former Liverpool star, has heard things from the club and believes any deal is dead.

"The Fekir transfer I think was going to happen and it hasn't happened, but I don't think it's a big problem to be honest," he told the Daily Express.

"I think they found a reason not to do the deal and they'll move on to other targets.

"I think it looks as if it's over to be honest. From what I've heard I think it's over."
