The majority of Barcelona's board want to see Luis Suarez sold this summer.
The former Liverpool striker has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City in recent days, while Inter Milan have made an approach this week.
Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito de Jugones, revealed Barca directors believe now is the time to cash in on Suarez.
He explained: "The majority of the board of directors of Barcelona wants the departure of Luis Suárez.
"First, they believe that Luis Suárez absorbs Leo Messi too much and that he has a bad influence on him. Second, he is 31 years old and in January he turns 32. Finally, he is half blamed for the fate that has been Barca in the Champions League."
Inda added: "In the last 18 matches of the Catalans in the Champions League he has scored two goals."
