Barcelona may end their interest in Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho definitively in the coming weeks.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu, just yesterday, claimed that Liverpool demanded "€200m" to sell Coutinho in the final weeks of the summer market.
Returning to Merseyside with a new offer in January is unlikely, with Coutinho now Cup-tied to the Champions League, and Lionel Messi's biographer, Guillem Balague, admits there's no certainty Barca will try again next summer.
He told Sky Sports: "A return of Barça for Coutinho this winter? Barca will not return to Coutinho in January and it's too early to say what can happen next summer."
