Brad Inman is yet to ink new terms with Newcastle United.
The Evening Chronicle says Crewe Alexandra are keen to take him to Gresty Road on a permanent deal after his contract with the Magpies ran out on July 1.
United can't prevent him from leaving but can demand compensation from his next club.
