Gokhan Inler admits he was attracted to Leicester City by their history.
The Foxes pulled off another fine signing by securing the services of Inler from Napoli for £3million and the Swiss midfielder's arrival can certainly be considered a huge boost for the East Midlands club.
Upon his arrival, Inler has stated that Leicester was the perfect club for him and added that he was chose to join the Foxes due to their extensive history.
Inler said: "Everything was perfect for me. With the coach, with the owners, the facilities, the club and the team, I saw how they play and I think I can help how they play.
"I see the young guys and it's important to be in a squad that wants to grow up. Leicester (was formed in) 1884? A hundred years after I was born. I like the story here, I want to see more and I want to learn the history here.
"For me this is a new challenge and I am ready for that. Why is the stadium called King Power? They give everything. The spirit, I like. The owners bring this to the club and, for me, it is perfect."
