Injury woes for Barcelona's Cesc blamed on Arsenal boss Wenger

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas' injury problems are being blamed on the training routines employed by manager Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

Cesc is recovering from his latest setback suffered in Champions League action against BATE Borisov.

Marca says Cesc has suffered due to the intensity of Arsenal's training sessions since he was 16 years of age. It's suggested Cesc was worked at 16 like he was a 30 year-old - and there was never any let up.

Spanish specialists say players should train in relation to their age so to avoid long-term injury.

Interestingly, Cesc turned to personal trainer Juan Ferrando at Arsenal and managed to play 18 consecutive games while working with him. Ferrando now works with Cesc at Barca.
